"Without any fanfare or expectation"
Our lifestyle is of our own choosing and often, with a little insight, our choices can be sufficiently altered to change our lifestyles in a way that achieves all our goals but does not lose ourselves in the process. One such choice before us is to give back some of what we most generously have been given. We choose to explore the side of our personality that allows us to be generous without expecting anything in return.
"I give back to myself, a better me..."
What can I give back when I don't own anything in this universe? This is the first thought I had after I tried to get some words out of my heart for this topic. Probably, I may look like giving an excuse to come out of social responsibility but to be very honest, everything is given to us. So by helping others we are not offering charity but we are feeding our own conscience; at the end it's our own self we need to answer. It's easy to say, once I'll be rich I'll do this or once I get a little older I'll do that but sometimes that 'right time' never arrives because the intention to help is needed not the availability of resources to meet our requirements.
Giving back to me means giving back a better me, a better society, a better community to the Universe where people believe in one world, one economy, collectively as ONE. Giving back means giving my thoughts and passion forward for future generations; being at least a part of collective consciousness. I give back myself a better me, each day! ~ Prerana

A Divine Pathway
I think giving back is everyone's right, responsibility, and privilege. As human beings, we all have the capacity to create. We all live together in a society and we all feel the desire to be connected - to be a part. When we open up our lives to recognize and cultivate our own particular abilities and passions, we are able to give of ourselves in a way that is not sacrifice, but a divine pathway to entering the "Golden Age" we have encoded within our hearts. ~ Matt
" ...we are in fact giving to ourselves"
When others give to us, we are in fact giving to ourselves, since we are one. What is important to remember is that whatever we give, by being given, is put into a state of balance with all things. With that being said, we give more than what we are given, so that everyone is always sharing more and more, and the illusion of selfishness diminishes more and more, until eventually it will fade away along with all other illusions.
I see all things in accordance to The Balance. The Balance is a fluid balance. When we cling to things that others need more than we do, we interrupt the necessary flow of The Balance. Things must move, in order to fulfill the needs of all beings. It's like an economy; if too many people are reluctant to spend their money, or share it, the economy becomes stagnant, unbalanced, and dead, and everyone suffers. Similarly, we need to share our blessings with others, in order to maintain the flow of The Balance in our lives. But I must be clear on something; The Balance itself is infinite and indestructible. We cannot destroy it. By interrupting it's flow, we are putting ourselves on the dark side of The Balance. We are stagnating ourselves. The greatest way to prevent our own self-stagnation, is to always give back to the world MORE than what the world gives to us.
The Balance is a self-repairing system. When anything disturbs The Balance, unless that thing corrects it's own disturbance, The Balance will inevitably eliminate that thing, thus repairing itself.
"Let's make love contagious"
Where there is love there is smiles and smiles are contagious! Let's make love contagious by giving back!
Giving back is an important part of the human element. We all have this desire to help those we love. Life beats you down at times to show you that you cannot have one with out the other. This allows us the space to grow. When we really give into this part of our personality we can grow the most. Giving back makes us stronger only if we do not have the intention of receiving.
True growth comes from within and give back what you get is a good way to make you feel good about yourself. Leaving this world better off for our children is the best thing we can do collectively as a species. In order to do that we must first love each other for the oneness that we are. So be sure to give back to someone today in any way that spreads love. Where there is love there is smiles and smiles are contagious! Let's make love contagious by giving back!

"Giving back doesn't have to be material"
There are many ways to give. My favorite is a smile. The power of a smile is so real! Smiling at random strangers in public is an offering of comfort, acceptance, and support. It raises their vibration, which raises yours. What a beautiful gift you can give all day to your fellow brothers, sisters, and yourself. An unspoken instant support system! A smile also comforts a human into opening up and sharing in their needs. Great opportunity to share conversation, love, and peace. Smiles are contagious. Giving them is addictive. These are the vices that will change our world for the greatest good. ~ Sarah
A smile for a smile. An I for an I.

"Return On Investment... a new currency"
There is no greater gift in the world than giving of ourselves. It’s the purest expression of who we really are but it can be tricky.
Throughout our history, we have stitched giving back with getting. So for this article I took time to dissect this, to get really clear in my understanding. What I found was, like other things, there are many angles and I was a bit surprised to see that I had peeled back layers of attachments, the social, cultural and value based perception of what it means to give back. It's hugely diverse and what we hope to gain from our giving back are not the same as the gifts in the gesture of selfless giving. So it’s the latter that deserves all of our attention and to this point, I’ll shift the semantic ~ to service.
Pure & simple, service it's about being generous with giving ourselves joy and enthusiasm, which is in our highest learning. To offer our gifts and talents to the world means being open, aware and acting when someone needs help – we respond ably – without waiting to be asked. The spirit of service is about investing our love into all we are doing to make our world a better place. The ROI is a new currency ~ holistic Self~Love.
“Everyone can be great… because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve… You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” - Martin Luther King, Jr.
"Giving Back... means loving all there is..."
Giving Back for me, means loving all there is, in the same unconditional way that they all love me and everyone here at Passion Planet. Projecting that love out to the rest of the World and, of course our great Mother Gaia, is what I enjoy so much and I want to share that with everyone in my life. To know that others feel my energy and that it transforms them is a truly awesome feeling! A good friend told me the other day that the reason he loves me is because he can be himself without judgement or fear of ridicule! And it makes me so happy to know that my energy makes a difference, so as Aesop once said, `No act of Kindness, however small, is ever wasted." ~ Fiona

"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." - Ghandi
"At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many things we have done. We will be judged by: I was hungry and you gave me food to eat; I was naked and you clothed me; I was homeless and you took me in; Hungry not only for bread--- but hungry for love; Naked not only for clothing but human dignity and respect; Homeless not only for want of a room of bricks, but homeless because of rejection." - Mother Teresa!
"Giving is the expression of potency! In the very act of giving. I experience my strength, my wealth, my power. This experience of heightened vitality and potency fills me with joy. I experience myself as overflowing, spending, alive, hence as Joyous. Giving is more joyous than receiving, not because it is a deprivation, but because in the act of giving lays the expression of my aliveness." - Erich Fromm
